	The Farmhouse is located in peaceful area surrounded by a shaded garden, olive trees, vineyard, ancient oaks trees, dominating the Arno valley. The villa can host up to 10 people and gift them an unforgettable stay. This ancient house, was once part of a larger farm and winery in a magnificent estate. Situated among the green olive groves, active vineyards and oak woods, Villa Rita is the right place to feel with every sense the power of the simple and peaceful life, typical of the Italian means. The estate has, as its landmark, the Tower of Galatrona. The Tower's foundation dates back to the Etruscan and Romans populations. Galatrona” is also the name of one of the best wines you can find in Tenuta di Petrolo together with “Torrione” (big tower). This charming estate is, in fact, famous all over the world for its delicious Gods’ nectar that you cannot miss!
The villa sits in quiet and expansive surroundings with beautiful unspoiled views of undulating olive groves; the well kept park, with centenarian old plants, is a perfect place to relax, to walk or for your kids to play. Rita, the owner live by herself in barn near by the villa and is happy to help the guests.

The large garden has a private swimming pool (10 x 5 m) with deckchairs and umbrellas overlooking the gorgeous valley of Val d'Ambra. A barbecue and a large outdoor table, totally immersed in lovely flavourful greens, beckon to enjoy the sound of silence.

The Villa is located on the Chianti hills, the village of Mercatale Valdarno is just 1000 meters far; there you can found market, pharmacy, baker, bar, restaurant, post office

On the hill in front of the villa, just 500 meters road, you have the panoramic medieval tower of Galatrona, where is possible to rise on top.

Mercatale Valdarno, historical village in walking distance, with restaurants, shops and the local market for fresh food and veggies is really easy to achieve.

Within 30/40 kms there are Florence, Arezzo and Siena (the first two comfortably reachable also by train from the station of Montevarchi that is far less than 10 minutes by car).

Cortona, Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano,and the Val D' Orcia are distant approximately one hour by car."
