Poggio Ugo
Settled in a gentle valley, at the foot of Poggio Cennina, and surrounded by vineyards and a grove of ancient oaks, the grounds of Poggio Ugo beckon one to tranquil relaxation either enjoying the large pool or reclining under the natural shaded umbrella of majestic trees.
This oasis of tranquility extends over 2.5 hectares, beautifully accommodating a large swimming pool (18x8m) with 3 different depths and a diving board. The recreation and relax complex is competed with a solarium, deck and lounge chairs, umbrellas, lawns, furnished terraces and hammocks.
Accommodation
Tall knurled cypresses, acacia trees and boxed geraniums are the first to greet guests as they pass through the gated entrance to the central stone farmhouse. The main building, currently the owners’ residence, houses the reception and is flanked by two refurbished barns which accommodate the 6 guest apartments .
All of the traditional farm buildings have been recently renovated with stone and brickwork and are furnished in Tuscan style with fine wooden fixtures
All of the apartments are spacious and comfortable with all modern amenities. Plenty of natural light is provided by large windows, and the renovated barns are surrounded by lawns and stone pathways leading one around the grounds and to the pool.
TYPE A : 50 sq. m which includes kitchen, salon with sofa or armchair bed, master bedroom, shower bathroom, closet, satellite TV and personally controlled heating.
TYPE B : 75 sq. m composed of kitchen, salon with master sofa bed, 2 bedrooms (1 master bedroom and one with two twin beds) shower bathroom, closet, satellite TV and personally controlled heating.
Location
Its unique position makes it easy to reach a profusion of the most beautiful towns and hill villages in Tuscany and Umbria including, for example, Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio and San Giminiano; astay in Lupinari indeed offers unrivalled beauty and tranquility in luxurious surroundings and a friendly atmosphere.
One arrives at Poggio Ugo, situated at the foot of Poggio Cennina by a regional road from Bucine which becomes a cypress-lined gravel track for the last 300-meter stretch.
