Villa la Collina

Beautiful independent Villa obtained from the careful restoration of an ancient stone farmhouse that sits atop a hill with 360 degree views over the underlying countryside.
All facilities and shops are at 2 kms.
Siena is at 29 kms, Arezzo is at 35 kms, while Asciano, the Crete Senesi and the Abbey of Monte Oliveto are 30 minutes away by car.

The thermal Spa of Rapolano is a 15 minute drive, and the entrance to the A 1 highway is at 43 kms. The medieval hamlet of Cennina, which hosts summer concerts starting from June 26 th, is at 2 kms.

The Villa is reached by 1 km of well-kept dirt track and is surrounded by 4,000 meters of gardens, bordered by the property.

The Villa can accommodate 10 people in 5 bed-rooms with 3 bath-rooms and 1 W.C. with washbasin with 1 fully equipped kitchen indoor, outdoor dining area and private swimming-pool (10x5 mt’s).

The left door facing the entrance opens into the vast living room with an archway that separates it from a cozier sitting room with fireplace.

There are several panoramic glass doors in the living room that open into a portico that is furnished with table and chairs and is the ideal place to enjoy one’s meals in the slumbering heat of summer.
The portico also has a full equipment of garden furniture.

From the sitting room, an open passageway leads into the formal dining room with open staircase that leads to the first door.

The formal dining room is separated from the informal dining area next to the kitchen by a wrought iron and glass partition with door providing access to both. The informal dining room has a large table with marble top and it is separated from the kitchen by an open archway.

The kitchen is exquisitely fitted and offers a gas range, gas oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer and open hearth fireplace for grilling and roasting.

From the formal dining room, up 5 steps on the staircase is a landing with door to a utilities room with washingmachine, washbasin and door to the near garden.

The maid has exclusive access to this room.

She comes three times weekly for three hours each time and costs
€ 155,00 per week to be paid directly on arrival.

Extra hours can be arranged with her.
Continuing up the stairs from the first landing is a delightful sitting room with arched panoramic windosw and wrought iron door to the front of the house. From this sitting room through an open passageway is the third sitting with fireplace and doors to the sleeping section of the Villa.

These are three sections.

To the left is the door to a double bedroom with ensuite complete bathroom with shower stall. To the right of the fireplace is a door to a corridor.
Doors in the corridor lead into a spacious twin bedded room with an archway that interrupts the room and creates a study. At the end of the corridor is the door to a large complete bathroom with two washbasins and bathtub. A last door in the corridor opens into a second spacious double bed-room.
To the right of the sitting room with fireplace, a final door opens into a short corridor with three doors that lead to a double bed-room, to a twin bedded-room and to a complete bath-room with shower stall.
The Villa is impeccably furnished with great care to details. Many pieces are antique and the finishings are luxurious.

A cook maid is available if you need, but you must confirm her at your booking.

A 500 euro deposit is required.
Gas, electricity and final cleaning included.
Heating not included.
